This sculpture was from the first class that I took with Chris Riccardo at the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, FL. Chris keep adjusting the sculpture while I was making it so that is why the sculpture to so proportional. The live model was a beautiful woman who kept falling asleep. I found this amusing. So I sculpted her with her mouth slightly open. When she saw the sculpture this made her very angry and she left the class. A new model was hired. My favorite part of the sculpture is her back, because I spent more time on it. It was difficult to view the front of the model with all the class jockeying for a good view. What is happening in the sculpture is Eve just finished eating an apple and ended up pleasuring herself. This sculpture was chosen to be in the Boca Raton Museum of Art in 2009. At that time the piece was named “Untitled Woman”. She was given her name “Eve” shortly after.
